A New Favorite

We have created a monster!! Camden loves Starbucks as much as we do. I always get a Raspberry Green Tea Frappuccino and have started to let Camden have sips. Well the last couple of times he takes a sip and then decides he doesn't want to share. Today I went to Starbucks to get our usual and asked the girl if she could make a little extra of mine and put it in a cup for my son. Well they ended up giving us a half full Tall with whip cream for free! Camden thought he won the lottery! He's getting to be such a big boy!

Rockband!

Joe got the Guitar Hero Rockband. I was a little reluctant at first but it's been really fun. Camden has loved it! He loves playing the drums and singing in the microphone. It's so funny! We may have a rockstar in our midst!! His face is priceless!!

Encore, Encore!!

2 of his favorite things

The weather has been so nice lately so we have spent a lot of time outdoors. Camden LOVES it outside. Most of you know that I'm not really an outdoorsey type of girl and am terrified of bugs. Everytime we are outside I cringe... I'm learning to get over it because Camden is all boy and is forcing me to. He has the biggest fits when it's time to go back in! Rearranging our landscaping...

I think this will look much better over here... He is so thrilled to be outside!
His second favorite thing is plaing with his "choo choo" trains. He can spend hours playing trains and cars. He loves to lay down on the floor and watch the wheels go round and round.

Back to Indiana

This has been one of the hardest times in my life. My grandma was the best grandma anyone could ask for. I am going to miss so many things about her. My favorite story about her is when I was around 5 we were at grandma and grandpas (as we were so often) and I decided to try to drive my mom's car which had a stick shift. Somehow I shifted it into neutral. Their driveway had quite the slope and the car rolled back. I jumped out of the car and ended up braking my leg. My leg was gushing blood and all I can remember is my grandma yelling "Go get my aloe!" She thought aloe could fix all of the worlds problems. I'm going to miss her stories, which were often repeated multiple times. I'm going to miss her commentary on everything! She was so funny!! What I would do to hear what she thought of her funeral and everything surrounding it. Oh, and I bet grandpa is getting quite the earful!

Here are some pictures I took before we headed back to Oklahoma.
We spent the afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa Brewer. He's always been best buds with Grandpa.

He kept teasing Grandma who was asking for a kiss. He's getting to be very silly.
He sure does love his grandma! So cute!
I thought this was a really cute picture of Joe and his parents. We had a really nice visit.
We met my family for dinner for Robyn's birthday. Camden really enjoys being around his cousins. I wish we could make it back more often... or even better move closer!

Camden thinks he's pretty cool wearing his new sunglasses. So funny!

Grandma K

We got some devastating news this Easter morning. My grandma Stewart passed away. She had been battling Alzheimer's for several years and progressively getting worse. I am so glad we were able to visit with her last week but since Camden ended up getting so sick we only made it to see her once. I am having a really hard time with it since I promised her we would come back to see her before we went back but I didn't want to risk her getting sick. She seemed to be doing so well and I swear she knew who I was. We had such a great conversation, this is just shocking. If I could turn back time I would have stayed so much longer that day. I was so excited that my family decided to move her back to Indianapolis and that I would get to see her more often. I'm going to miss her so much.

We are heading back to Indiana tomorrow morning. This time Joe is going to drive us. I need him there with me during this.

To end this post with a picture Grandma K would have loved, here is Camden sitting on his new potty chair early this morning.

Easter Egg Hunt

We took Camden to his first "real" Easter Egg Hunt. Here he is in the car on the way there. Daddy was really excited to go!

There were so many people!
It was a really sunny but windy day. Camden wasn't sure what to think about the Easter Bunny so I had to jump in and take the picture with him.
Camden has really became a daddy's boy. It makes me sad that I'm no longer his favorite but I knew it would happen someday.
Waiting patiently for the egg hunt to start.
Come on Daddy!!
He did a great job and got a lot of eggs!
The best part for Camden was sampling the candy!
He thought the "Quack Quack" was pretty cool!

Sesame Street Live: When I Grow Up

Cory, Robyn, Mason, Grandma Dot, Camden and I went to Sesame Street Live: When I Grow UP. I was a little nervous to take him because he's not yet 2 but he really enjoyed himself!

Here's a video of Camden and Mason enjoying the show!

He had popcorn for the first time during our trip!! He LOVED it!!

Hangin' with Friends in Indiana!!

Camden and I were able to hang out with two of my bestest friends and their kids. The three of them are just a couple of months apart! They all had such a great time. Thanks to Megan for allowing us to come over and make a big mess!!

This is Dionne and Elle. Elle is such a sweetheart! She is also a very fashionable little girl... but knowing who her mommy is, it's no surprise!
This is Megan and Gavin. Gavin is a sweetie!! He is so laid back and a real ladies man ;-) He and Camden will get into some major trouble together when they grow up!

Guess who wouldn't sit still to take a group picture... shocking, I know!

I was so excited to join some friends for Tiffany's 30th birthday!! I needed a night out with adults!! What a blast!!
Here's a picture with Brandi, Me, Dionne, Tiffany, and KasiaDionne and I on our night out! So fun!!

Camden and Mommy's Trip to Indiana

I took the plunge and took Camden on a plane ride again by myself. He did much better than our first trip! Unfortunatly halfway through our trip Camden ended up getting sick and we had to take him to the Emergency Room. He's on the road to recovery now and we're getting back to normal.

We only got to see Grandma and Grandpa Brewer for a couple of hours. I forgot to take pictures as often as I had planned so I don't have many to share.

Camden and Mason spent a lot of time together before Cam got sick so they really bonded!
We made it over to see Grandma K in the nursing home too!! We were hoping to make it there more during our trip but I didn't want to risk her getting sick!

Mason invited Camden to come over and play with his toys! He had such a great time!
Aunt Robyn showed Camden how to use the race track.
Mason is Batman! He's really into superheros!!
Camden loved Mason's basketball hoop! Can you believe how close in size they are?? Mason is 1 1/2 years older than Camden!! Maybe Cam will be a basketball player and get a scholarship... no pressure, haha!
Big hugs for Uncle Cory!
